Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV)

Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV)

The university is actively monitoring the situation and continuously assessing what may be required in response to any spread of the virus. Protecting the health and safety of our students, staff, and faculty is a primary concern.  Review the Coronavirus webpage for additional information.

Cannabis and International Travel

Cannabis and International Travel

On October 17, 2018 recreational cannabis became legal in Canada.  This, however, did not change Canada's border rules.  Taking cannabis or any product containing cannabis across Canada's international borders is illegal and can result in serious criminal penalties both at home and abroad.  This is the case even if you are travelling to places that have legalized or decriminalized cannabis.  Travelling across Canada's international borders with cannabis used for medical purposes is also illegal.
